It’s no secret that VfL Wolfsburg are interested in Club Brugge winger Andreas Skov Olsen and hope to bring the Denmark international to the Volkswagen Arena in the winter transfer window.
However, Wolfsburg sporting director Sebastian Schindzielorz has told Kicker that it is “difficult to say” when – and if – a breakthrough will be made in negotiations with the winger’s Belgian club.
“Things are always a bit tough and difficult, everyone has their own interests. It’s always difficult to predict when and if the knot will be tied,” said Schindzielorz.
According to the German football magazine, Wolfsburg’s initial offer of €8 million has been rejected by the Belgians and an improved offer is expected shortly.
Skov Olsen himself is said to be determined to join Wolfsburg, who already have his fellow Danish internationals Joakim Mæhle and Jonas Wind in their ranks.
